1. Who we are
Sails Anyway (sailsanyway.com) is operated by CSSM Reed, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"). Ai-Cruise Granny is an AI character who presents our content; a real person behind her does the cruising and runs the business.

2. What we collect
Information you give us
- When you sign up: your first name, email address and, if you choose to share it, when you plan to sail.
- When you email us or send a question: whatever you choose to include.
- If you book a cruise through us: the booking details needed to make and manage your reservation. Bookings are processed through our host travel agency and the cruise line, and their privacy policies also apply.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Email activity. Our email service can tell us whether an email was opened or a link clicked, so we know what's useful to you.
We don't sell advertising space on our site. We do use an affiliate script from Travelpayouts, described in sections 5 and 6, which may use cookies to credit travel bookings to us.
3. If you share health or mobility details
Our signup form never asks about your health. But many readers write to us about a bad back, a walker, a wheelchair or a parent's condition so we can give a better answer. If you do, we use it only to answer you. It is not added to our mailing list profile, and we will delete it on request. Please don't send more medical detail than you're comfortable with — and remember that nothing we say is medical advice.

- To time reminders to your sail date — for example, when accessibility forms or excursion bookings are due.
- To answer your questions and, if you book with us, to manage your cruise.
- To understand which content is useful so we can make more of it.
- To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations.
Questions featured on the show
In Granny's Got Answers, Ai-Cruise Granny answers reader questions and may mention the sender by first name only. We never share your last name, email or contact details. If you'd rather stay anonymous, just say so when you write, and we'll leave your name out.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Sails Anyway, and only as much as they need:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. If the business is ever sold or transferred, your information would move with it under this same policy.
6. Affiliate links
Some links on our site and in our emails go to partners such as Amazon, Viator, GetYourGuide, Travelpayouts partner brands and cruise booking partners. Travelpayouts software running on our pages may also convert some travel links into affiliate links. When you click one, that partner may set its own cookies to track the referral so we can earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Their privacy policies apply once you're on their site.
7. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email, anytime.
- See, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Residents of some U.S. states, including California, and people in other countries may have additional rights, such as knowing what we hold about them or asking us not to share it. We honor those requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common standard for how websites should respond, so our site doesn't change its behavior based on it. We don't track you across other websites for advertising.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your email information while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it within a reasonable time, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or booking reasons.
9. How we protect it
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is ever completely secure, so we can't promise perfect security, but we take it seriously.
10. Children
Sails Anyway is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
11. Where your information is processed
We're based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the U.S. or other countries, under their own security and privacy commitments.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell subscribers by email.
